Darlene Brown

Darlene started her career in real estate over 40 years ago and founded Real Estate Partners Chattanooga (REP) in 2007. At the time, a woman-owned and led real estate company was uncommon and didn’t exist in Chattanooga. Darlene had risen to the top of her field through intelligence, hard work, perseverance, and tenacity and at 50, ventured out on her own with the goal of enriching the Chattanooga community, and the careers and lives of other women. Part den mother, part cheerleader, and a gifted manager, Darlene has hired or managed well over 1,000 men and women over her career. She now serves as President of Real Estate Partners, as well as the Managing Broker of the Downtown Office.

Darlene, nicknamed Downtown Darlene Brown, is a Chattanooga native and longtime community leader with an emphasis on revitalizing downtown. In fact, she was one of the first downtown residents and sold the first downtown residential condominiums - Loveman’s on Market. Darlene has held nearly every office at Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® including President and REALTOR® of the Year. She is also known for her ability to inspire and lead others to champion causes across our community.

What is your favorite Part of REP? Seeing other people be successful and feel ownership in our success. I don’t look at the company as “mine”, but as all of ours.
What area do you live in and what do you like about it? Missionary Ridge. The history, the views, the community, and the charm.
What is your favorite room in your home? The back deck because it is a great place to relax with eastern views of sunrises and mountains.
Favorite way to enjoy living in the Chattanooga area? Meeting friends to enjoy our local restaurants.
